Industrial Visit Report: MANMUL Date: January 11, 2025 Semester: 1st Semester MBA A & B Section The first semester MBA students from sections A and B had the opportunity to visit MANMUL (Mandya Milk Union Limited) on January 11, 2024. This visit was organized to provide students with a real-world perspective on industrial operations, production processes, and management practices. The visit was accompanied by our esteemed professors to guide us through the learning experience. Objectives The primary objectives of the industrial visit were: 1. To understand the production and operational processes involved in the dairy industry. 2. To learn about quality control and supply chain management in the dairy sector. 3. To gain insights into the organizational structure and management practices at MANMUL. 4. To observe and analyze the implementation of technology and automation in dairy processing. 5. To understand the challenges and opportunities in the dairy industry. Learning Outcomes The industrial visit to MANMUL was highly educational and provided the following key learning outcomes: 1. Production Processes: Students learned about the various stages of dairy processing, from milk collection to pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and distribution. 2. Quality Control: The visit highlighted the importance of quality control measures in ensuring the safety and quality of dairy products. Students observed the rigorous testing and quality assurance protocols followed at MANMUL. 3. Supply Chain Management: The students gained insights into the supply chain logistics involved in the dairy industry, including procurement of raw materials, storage, transportation, and distribution to retailers. 4.
