Day 1 Workshop Update The workshop commenced with an inspiring inauguration ceremony. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Binu P Paul, Former Associate Professor at the School of Economics, RV University, who served as the Chief Guest. Dr. Paul shared valuable insights on the importance of research and intellectual property rights (IPR), setting a motivational tone for the day. The ceremony also witnessed the participation of distinguished leaders, including Smt. Geetha S, Director of Geetha S Educational Trust, Dr. K.M. Nagendra, Principal of Bangalore Integrated Management Academy (BIMA), and Prof. Srinivas N., Principal of Bangalore Independent PU College (BIPUC). Following the inauguration, Dr. Roshan Zamer Ahmed, a renowned expert in intellectual property rights, conducted an interactive session on IPR. The session explored the fundamentals of IPR and its relevance in research, engaging participants in meaningful discussions and clarifying their queries. The workshop saw an enthusiastic enrollment of nearly 75 participants, including faculty members and students from various colleges, creating a dynamic and collaborative learning environment. In the afternoon session, Dr. A. Ameer Hussain, Associate Professor from Presidency University, conducted a practical hands-on session on “Data Analysis for Research Using IBM SPSS.” This session provided participants with essential data analysis skills, empowering them to enhance the quality and rigor of their research. Day 1 concluded with active participation and positive feedback, paving the way for an enriching Day 2 experience.
